about

You don't make a world with simple atoms is a phrase taken from the text by Jean Luc-Nancy “The inoperative community” (La communauté désoeuvrée, París, Christian Bourgois, 1983), in which he speaks that in the face of the idea of society marked by economic transactions and social ties, there is an inoperative community. A system of relations in which the notion of time is different from the one used in capital relations. At the party, time is suspended, it expands and is not subject to the hands of the clock, but to another tempo based on beats of the music. A WORLD IS NOT MADE WITH SIMPLE ATOMS is that, that the world is produced in the communication between singularities.

LATIDO celebrates its first anniversary with a compilation full of singularities. 16 tracks gathered in two volumes where the distinctive feature is the presence of multiple ingredients that are provided by the included artists. Some of these artists are already part of the LATIDO family, having released music on the label during its first year of life. Other artists join LATIDO for the first time, offering their own particular point of view on electronic dance music.

For this first volume of the compilation, LATIDO brings together a bunch of fabulous artists such as the joint project of the Italians Tulioxi and Daniel Monaco (aka Monoxido), Israelis Eliezer and Ackerman (aka Deadly Weapons), or the Mexican Globemaster. This compilation also features an excellent representation of Spanish electronic music from Undo & Casiowaves, Álvaro Cabana, and Cobertizo & Durand, not to mention the invincible English Lord Tronik Youth, or the Italian bosses of Synth Wave and Italo Disco Italoconnection.
